Mr. Gift of Life, Ray Hough Proudly showing the results of a Rotary Team visit to Honduras via a slide show presentation, Ray Hough explained to the club members what they accomplished and why they travelled to Honduras. Although several of us have seen this slideshow before, it never fails to move us and to praise the dedicated team that does about 35 surgeries in so few days.
The group of volunteers are going to another country in January; has already shipped a container containing supplies that would not be readily accessible. According to Hough, it takes $105,000 to ship the container. This is covered by donations and sponsorship. The approximate 40 volunteers cover their own expenses.
On Friday, February 13th, 2009 there will be a Gala, a Gift of Life Dinner held at the Venetian in Garfield. The Ad Journal covers a good deal of expense for Gift of Life! To get involved, contact John Mosca at 201 310 7729.

Valerie bravely stepped up to the plate, rang the bell and started the meeting. She did an excellent job, ceding the chair to our president, Anthony Iacono, when he came in.
